The last post asked about people’s experience with Stockwell’s MYBOSS as a means to receive information from the Body Corporate Committee.

Feedback ranged from ‘what is MYBOSS – never heard of it’ through to confirmation that it does not contain up to date information and is anything but a useful source of information for owners and residents.

But MYBOS is used by the VBC Committee and Stockwell to manage what goes on – it’s just that we who pay the bills aren’t able to see the information.

Questions were also raised as to why anyone would we want to see the information? Fair question and many clearly are not concerned. But if it is our information, our money, our appointed committee taking actions on our behalf, then surely those who want to view the information should be able to do so, easily and free of charge.

Very rarely is transparency a bad thing in normal life.
